• The Applied Research area at Lambton College is eligible for a range of funding programs provincially, federally and privately. Listed below are the different agencies that can provide possible funding opportunities.     Lambton College Research Innovation Fund (RIF)

    Lambton College offers the Research Innovation Fund to full-time faculty and staff. A maximum of $10,000 per project per year and per faculty member is available up to a maximum of $40,000.

    College & Community Innovation Program (NSERC)

    The College & Community Innovation fund supports applied research and collaborations that facilitate commercialization, technology transfer, adaptation and adoption of new technologies. Research areas include, environmental science and technologies, natural resources and energy, health and related life sciences and technologies and information and communications technologies.

    FedDev Ontario: Applied Research & Commercialization Initiative

    This initiative is a pilot initiative aimed at addressing the gap between research and commercialization in southern Ontario by encouraging collaboration between small and medium-sized enterprises and post-secondary institutions. The Applied Research and Commercialization Initiative aims to accelerate innovation and improve productivity and competitiveness for businesses in southern Ontario.

    Canada Foundation for Innovation: College-Industry Innovation Fund

    The College-Industry Innovation Fund stimulates competitive college-industry research and development partnerships that lead to business innovation. This program seeks to enhance the capacity of colleges to support innovation by providing state-of-the-art, industry-related research infrastructure to foster partnerships with the private sector in areas of strategic priority to the institution.

    CONII programs financial support for industry-driven, applied research and commercialization projects in partnership with its member colleges.
