SARNIA, April 19, 2017 – According to the latest Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report, Lambton College currently boasts the highest employer satisfaction rate in the province.
Not only did Lambton College take the top spot in the rankings, but the college earned a perfect score, with 100 per cent of employers surveyed reporting that they were satisfied or very satisfied with the skills of their new hires.
“Lambton College has worked very hard to align programs and training with the needs of industry, and we’re very proud to announce that our graduates excel at what they do,” says Judith Morris, President & CEO, Lambton College. “Our graduates have always been able to find careers that utilize the education and training they received during their time here. Being able to report a perfect employer satisfaction rate is an awesome achievement for our college.”
In addition to an outstanding employer satisfaction rate, Lambton College also scored above the provincial average when it came to Student Satisfaction. Additionally, when asked a series of survey questions, Lambton College students reported being satisfied or very satisfied that their program provided them with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in future careers. The overall quality of the learning experience, college services, and campus facilities and resources also garnered high satisfaction ratings.
“These results are a great indicator of just how successful we’ve been as a college in ensuring our students receive the support, education and training they need to succeed in a competitive job market,” says Morris. “Our career-focused programs, exceptional faculty and expanding facilities have allowed us to continually provide students with the skills they need to embrace real-world challenges with knowledge and confidence. This report reinforces that a Lambton College education leads to employment.”
The annual survey evaluates all of the province’s 24 community colleges through five KPIs. Results are based on independently gathered figures from Ontario community college students, graduates, and employers.
