In this eBit, students will learn about the basic terms and equations of kinematics related to position, velocity and acceleration. Students will explore motion sensors and how they detect motion based on RADAR and the Doppler effect, as well as how photo RADAR and LiDAR guns are used to prevent accidents and save fuel by measuring and reducing excessive speeding.
