With the Articulate Storyline micro-credential option, Lambton College has made it easy to quickly train on how to effectively and efficiently use Articulate Storyline to create online course content that will meet the needs of today's learners.
The Pathway
This pathway allows students to complete:
- 3 micro-credential learning units
- 1 micro-certificates
- Apply these 3 micro-credential learning units toward the Advanced Teaching - eLearning & Instructional Design Ontario College Graduate certificate.
Earn a Micro-Certificate
The following three learning units can be completed and applied toward the Storyline eLearning Development micro-certificate.
Create a Basic eLearning Module with Storyline is an online, competency-based introductory level micro-credential designed to teach eLearning design principles and basic features used in the industry standard software, Storyline 360.
Learners will interact with eLearning Developer experts as they familiarize themselves with basic components of Storyline 360, identify key design principles, and learn the importance of AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) guidelines to create basic eLearning modules. Some of the topics that will be covered include story size settings, timeline and states, layers, triggers, button sets, and basic eLearning content design.
Create a Basic eLearning Module with Storyline is ideal for Human Resources, training, and educational professionals who are new to eLearning and want to acquire foundational development skills using industry-standard eLearning software. Upon successful completion of this micro-credential, learners will be well-equipped to progress to the Create Interactive eLearning Elements with Storyline micro-credential.
Create Interactive eLearning Elements with Storyline is an online competency-based advanced level micro-credential designed to introduce learners to more advanced features used in Storyline 360. Learners have the opportunity to interact with eLearning Developer experts as they familiarize themselves with some of the advanced level features of Storyline 360.
Some of the topics that will be covered in this badge include Motion Paths, Quizzes, Media Embedment, Triggers, Gamification, and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) development standards.
Create Interactive eLearning Elements with Storyline is ideal for Human Resources, training, and educational professionals who possess working knowledge of eLearning content authoring software, and want to enhance their skills using industry-standard software. Upon completion of this micro-credential, learners will be well-equipped to progress to the Use Instructional Design Concepts to Create a Short eLearning Course micro-credential.
Use Instructional Design Concepts to Create a Short eLearning Course is an online competency-based advanced level micro-credential designed to support learners in the creation of an eLearning course that adheres to instructional design and eLearning principles, quality, accessibility and copyright standards.
Learners will be required to complete a "learner profile," identify measurable learning outcomes, create a "storyboard" and eLearning course, and design a course shell within a Learning Management System that addresses quality eLearning standards for online learning environments.
This micro-credential is ideal for corporate, public sector, and educational professionals who possess working knowledge of eLearning content authoring software and want to enhance their skills using industry-standard software.
