This online, competency-based Micro-credential is designed to introduce learners to the nervous system's anatomy and physiology and the impacts of aging. You will learn how the nervous system coordinates the body to maintain homeostasis. Some common conditions that affect the nervous system include Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Vascular accidents and seizures.
