This online, competency-based micro-credential introduces learners to the documentation requirements for care plans defined by the Ministry of Long-Term Care. After successful completion of this micro-credential, the learner should be able to individualize a resident care plan; understand Focus, Goal, and Intervention as they relate to a plan of care; identify the difference between behaviours of daily living (BDL) and mood; navigate care planning for the resident safety, hearing, communication, and vision aspects; and recognize the various disciplines that contribute to elements of the care plan.
