Compulsory Fees

Alumni Fee
The Lambton College Alumni Association assists current students and graduates to form partnerships and business connections through a number of activities for students such as mentorship programs, networking opportunities, student appreciation events and scholarships and awards. The Association enables a lifelong relationship for graduates to stay in touch with Lambton College.
Athletic Fee
This fee covers the cost of varsity and intramural activities as well as our state of the art gym facility and equipment.
Career Service Fee
This fee covers career consulting, job fairs, and job placement support for all students during program study period and up to six months after graduation.
Co-op Fee
This fee is charged for maintaining all programs that have a co-op component. Fees vary depending on the number of co-op terms.
Counselling Fee
This fee covers all counselling support (academic, employment, and personal counselling).
Facilities Fee
A fee to support maintenance and upkeep of Lambton’s beautiful campus.
Graduation Fee
A graduation fee covers the cost of graduation and convocation ceremony.
Health & Dental Care Insurance Fee
A health and dental care fee provides students with health and dental insurance. Students who have paid these premiums and who can provide proof of alternative coverage may opt-out. Students wanting to include family benefits may fill out an opt-in form at the Atkin Family Health & Wellness Centre. There is an additional cost involved. Student Activity Fee
This fee is levied by the Student Administrative Council (SAC) to support several student activities throughout the year.
Student Administrative Council Academic Support Fee
This fee supports activities and services provided by SAC to enhance academics and learning.
Student Administrative Council Clubs Fee
SAC provides financial support to enable students to form clubs, ranging from social to political to academic.
Student Administrative Council Community Engagement Fee
SAC supports a number of agencies in the Sarnia-Lambton area that work to improve the lives of students, kids and families in the community.
Student Administrative Council Membership Fee
SAC is the College’s student government, comprised of representatives elected by students who are members of SAC. SAC provides an array of services to members such as student advocacy, locker rentals, support for orientation activities, recreational events, student clubs, housing, and operation of the student centre, restaurant and pub. Students must be members of SAC to hold office or vote in the election that selects the governing body.
Student Administrative Council Recreation Fee
This fee covers recreational activities organized by SAC.
Student Administrative Council Wellness Fee
This fee supports students’ wellness through various SAC activities such as the food bank.
Student Card Fee
A photo ID fee covers the cost of your student card.
Student Centre Building Fee
This fee is charged by SAC to operate and maintain student buildings such as the Student Centre and Fitness Facilities.
Student Health Fee
This fee helps to maintain the services provided by the Health & Wellness and Learning Centres.
Technology Access Fee
This fee supports value added I.T. services, such as, computer labs and WiFi.
Tutoring Fee
This fee helps to cover peer tutoring services to all students at no additional cost.
  • Please Note: Part-time students will be assessed a pro-rated amount for ancillary fees.

Other Fees

International Students
Students who are not Canadian citizens or landed immigrants are assessed regular tuition fees plus a premium per term. International students should refer to our refund and withdrawal process for international students.
Late Charge
A non-refundable late charge will be assessed against full-time students who register and pay fees after the established payment date.
Online ConEd Material Fee
This fee is applied on a per-course basis for all students taking online courses hosted on the OntarioLearn platform.
Transcript Fee
Students requesting a transcript will be charged a fee per transcript request.
