Lambton College Ranks #2 in Canada for Collaborative Applied Research
SARNIA, December 9, 2024 – Lambton College continues to solidify its reputation as a leader in applied research, ranking as the #2 research college in the country.
According to Research Infosource Inc., which released its annual list of Canada's Top 50 Research Colleges last week, Lambton was also named the #1 medium-sized research college for paid student research positions – a rank Lambton has held for four consecutive years.
In the medium-sized college category, Lambton also claimed the following:

- #1 Paid Research Partnerships
- #2 Research Income
- #2 Industry Research Income
- #3 Completed Research Projects
In addition to highlighting Lambton College’s sustained excellence in research and innovation, the latest rankings are also reflective of the College’s ongoing commitment to student success and workforce development.
Lambton College has become a cornerstone of Canada’s research landscape, holding a spot amongst the top five research colleges for nine years running – a distinction that isn’t held by any other college in the country.
