More than $444,000 in awards given at this year's Academic Awards ceremony
SARNIA, March 27, 2023 – Hard-working and high-achieving Lambton College students are receiving more than $440,000 in scholarships and academic awards this year.
The annual Academic Awards ceremonies, place at the Lambton College Event Centre on Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 29, will recognize more than 150 students across all academic programs who have earned awards for their academic effort, dedication to student groups, and commitment to the community.
“On behalf of Lambton College, I would like to congratulate all of our Academic Award winners for their hard work and dedication. We are thrilled to recognize and celebrate these exceptional students,” says Rob Kardas, President & CEO, Lambton College. “I would also like to thank the partners and donors who make our scholarship and bursary program possible. Their kindness and generosity has a significant impact on our mission of student and community success, and we are truly grateful.”
The awards will be presented over two separate lunch celebrations, taking place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The small ceremonies will provide the students with the opportunity to network with scholarship and bursary donors while enjoying lunch.

This year’s Academic Awards were made possible by The Lambton College Foundation’s scholarship program, which is supported by individual and family donors, and corporate and community partners.

Since its inception in 1994, The Lambton College Foundation has raised millions of dollars to enhance facilities, programs and services for students, and provide financial assistance through scholarships and bursaries.
