Lambton College honoured with International Research & Innovation Award
SARNIA, September 26, 2024 – Research initiatives at Lambton College are being recognized at the international level.
The College was recently honoured with a Bronze Award of Excellence for Applied Research and Innovation on behalf of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP), a member-based organization which brings together colleges, polytechnics, university colleges and institutes of professional education from around the globe.
The award was announced during the WFCP’s World Congress, which took place in Montego Bay, Jamaica, from September 22 – 27.
The WFCP Awards of Excellence celebrate the achievements of member institutions and individuals whose work has strengthened skills development and fostered economic and social progress worldwide. Lambton College was awarded Bronze in Applied Research for demonstrating excellence in addressing real-world challenges through applied research and continued leadership in building robust, client-driven research, providing social, economic, health and environmental benefits to our local and global community.
