Spring Open House to Showcase Student Life at Lambton College
SARNIA, March 18, 2025 – From student services and campus clubs to course offerings and career opportunities, Lambton College is ready to show off everything it has to offer incoming students during this weekend’s Spring Open House. The signature event, which takes place Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., has been carefully curated to give future students the opportunity to discover what life as a Lambton College student is all about. Future Lions will have the opportunity to explore the entire campus on a guided discovery tour, led by Lambton Ambassadors, with special shuttles arranged to transport guests to both Residence and the Fire School if interested. A special exhibition on loan from the Legacy of Hope Foundation will also be available for viewing. The educational displays include Cruel and Unethical, which features examples of the mistreatment of Indigenous Peoples in Canada’s healthcare system, and Peter Henderson Bryce: A Man of Conscience, outlining Bryce’s work as the medical health officer for the then-named Department of Indian Affairs to expose the high mortality rates of First Nations children in Residential Schools due to poor conditions and tuberculosis. Other happenings taking place during the event include info sessions on financial aid and how to successfully transition to college life, as well as a chance to chat with faculty and students from all of Lambton College’s programs. Incoming students can also enter to win some fantastic prizes including tuition for the 2025/2026 school year. Additional incentives include the opportunity to accept your offer or even apply to Lambton College on-the-spot. Spaces are still available in many programs for September 2025 and the Enrolment team will be available to assist all guests with the application process during the event. As an added bonus for attending Open House, Lambton College will pay the application fee for any students who apply during the event.
